Cafe Paradiso is my favorite for live music..Musicians love playing at Cafe Paradiso. Tim has a great reputation for getting the sound just right!

Some of the best coffee I've ever had. I loved the atmosphere and vibes of the place. The outdoor seating is a nice touch. 10/10 would reccomend.

Cafe Paradiso is has a great selection of breakfast nibblies and a great selection of drinks. Personally I love the hot chocolate it's the perfect balance of cremey goodness and foam on the top! Perfection! Also hosts live music and special events definitely a Fairfield favorite.

Best coffee West of the Mississippi. East, too. Intimate live music. Food focus is on quality rather than quantity/variety. Uncomfortably hot in summer, they need an AC upgrade

It was a great latte, that’s for sure. There’s always music or something social happening. If you’re from Fairfield you’re sure to run into folks you know. WiFi is slower than other coffee houses nearby, but that’s not a dealbreaker by any means.Open mic night can be fun...

What a great inviting looking place unfortunately they are not a whole coffee shop to my way of thinking they only have raw sugar or your coffee no artificial sweeteners unfortunate that does not work or someone who is pre-diabetic or diabetic I'm trying to stay away from sugarAt least I got to see the place it's a great-looking copy shop

Great spot! Coffee was very good. I went on an open mic night and saw some really great performers. Love Cafe P's commitment to the local music community.

If you want to go somewhere different, this is the place. The building is lovely, with a high molded ceiling and a person could imagine what it looked like years ago. Coffee and tea and food can be bought in the smaller room. I found myself asking "what is this drink? " a lot, and the man was patient and answered my questions. It was a quiet peaceful place where customers were able to sit at a table and take their time, working on their laptops or visiting in small clusters. The room had an old piano in it, so they probably have shows in the evening. If you go, try the sweet macha iced.

Nice little coffee shop with a hipster atmosphere that serves pastries as well. Unfortunately they were out of whip cream. It has inside and outside seating. The specialty coffee was very strong.

Best coffee and treats in town hands down

Love the drink called a "Steve", named after one of the owners. I also love the live music. Open mics draw excellent talent on Wednesday nite and live music Thursday rotates between a few local favorites with a small cover. The weekends generally have at least one out of town stellar group. Sunday there is world class Irish musicians jamming from 3:30 -5 ish for free.

Fun and good drinks

Best coffee in SE Iowa. Organic beans roasted locally. Milk is from local organic dairy. Serious baristas. Relaxed atmosphere. Great selection of live music performances several nights per week.

A favorite stop in Fairfield. Just understand, this is an esspresso shop, there is no brewed coffee. The baristas are happy to explain the offerings. The baked goods are delicious, I have a hard time passing up the scones. I don't get there in the evenings, but I did notice they had some very interesting tap beer offerings. Live music is on the stage some evenings. This is one of the places that give Fairfield such a cool vibe.

I enjoyed the strawberry cheese danish. Very buttery and creamy. Just wished it came warm or they had the ability to warm it. My total was 4 dollars and some change just for the danish.

Passing through town and asked a local for coffee shop nod - without pause, "Paradiso's Americano". Walked down the street, ordered, requested topper of their local, Jersey cow creme...paradise. Friendly folks, too!

I bought a chocolate warm milk the first time there for "Open" microphone (mic for short: an amplifier for the voice box. The best one I've ever drunk. Since then my visits have been amateur. OPEN MIC. It has become the venue for pro-quality techers to play their slow stuff.
